I have been on the c32 waiting list at a midwestern dealer for about 1 year. I should have a very high number. However, with the prices of used e55's coming down, I am starting to look at some of the year 2000 cars. My question is, knowing what you know about your cars would you wait for a new c32, or pick up a nice pre-owned e55? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thank You.

Re: Apples and bananas. Super luxo-cruiser or super-tourer, M3 killer

I've been on the C32 list for 10 months, bought an E55 ('99) but sold it after 3 days. Didnt handle well enough for my canyon driving. Amazing engine though. C32 is supposed to beat it. If all you do is drive freeway or straight line city then get an E55. It wont handle like the C32 though. (I had the M3 before the E55). Exceptional freeway car!

PS Paid $52.5k for 16k miles.

You're obviously not a good driver...

The E55's race inspired multilink suspension makes it one of the best handling cars in the world. If I take you for a ride in my E55 down Angeles Crest Highway, you'll definitely take back your statement.
