We are a distributor for Kleemann kompressors in Los Angeles and would like the opporunity to install the first 5.5L V8 Kleemann unit in the USA. Kleemann of Denmark has installed these kits on CL500s and S500s in Europe and produced close to 450HP and 500 ft.-lbs of torque. The kit will retail normally for $18,000 installed, however, we are offering a 20% ($4,000 off) discount to the first customer who allows us to use their car to install the kit. The install will be handled by a MB factory trained Kleemann technician, who will be flown out to handle the installation at our facility here in West Los Angeles. A 50% increase in HP/Torque is to be expected for the 5.5L yielding ~ 525HP/580 ft.-lbs of torque and achieving the 0-100KMh mark in ~ 4.2/ 0-400M ~ 12.1.
If interested and located in Los Angeles or if you have more questions, please contact me direct as soon as possible at (310)2789600.
Thank you for your time
Sincerely,
Quick question, if you don't mind...

I'd heard of 4-cyl and 6-cyl Kleeman units, but didn't know they'd come up with an install for the 8-cyl MB engine.

Is this something new, or a homebrew Technik thing?

Jamie -- London, UK.

Re: Quick question, if you don't mind...

These are Kleemann designed V8 kompressors. They are new products from Kleemann. We merely install and tune them.
