Hello everyone. Nice to meet you all.

I have an E55 AMG 2004 Model. Is there an easy way to upgrade the in-car telephony to allow android phone connectivty. Also looking to stream music via bluetooth through the existing Harman sound system.

Any help greatly appreciated.

I have just starting looking into this as well. You need a fibre optic interface to give you access to the steering wheel controls and the HK amp. It seems many are using inexpensive Chinese Android head units but it sounds like you can also get some well known brands to work as well if you can get the right interface. I noticed that some are using the AVIN Most fibre optic interface. They also can supply a head unit as well.
