I have just bought an 2010 mod E500 (E550) 4matic, and have a few questions I can't find any answers in the manual.
The car have no spare, but a compressor to fill the tire if you get a flat.
I can buy one of the mini-spare's with parts #2124000002, but then I was told that you can't use that wheel with a E500 4matic car. Is that true? if yes, is there other wheels I can use?
My other question is the cell phone.
Which phone is suitable for the car setup?
Hope anybody can help me with answers.

Im guessing your from europe at USA we dont have an E500, however you should be able to have a tire of like size fit in the spare trunk spot in the rear like what you have on the vehicle. As far as cell phones, you should be able to pair android or IOS with your car for audio streaming, phone calls etc. May need to see if theres an update for your command though if its not recognizing your device. May also depend on the year of your car.

Yes, I don't why they are named E550 in USA, but E500 in Europe. They have the same 5.5L engine

I had a look at the link, and I think that the setup for cellphone is different for the European cars.
They have a "cradle" in the storage compartment in the armrest. It looks like there is room for a phone.Look at the picture.
Please correct me if I'm wrong
Regarding the spare wheel, the wheel don't fit in the . With the Wheel in the spare wheel well, I can't close
the trunk floor lid. The wheel is 1 inch to high laying down. The wheel size is 245/40x18

They have a "cradle" in the storage compartment in the armrest. It looks like there is room for a phone.Look at the picture.

Make look and see what the stock size was for your car then because a full size tire should fit back there unless they do things differently also in on that in Europe. My stock size tire is 245/45/17. Also as far as the cellphone, what are you wanting to do with your phone in the car? You should be able to bluetooth connect for music, phone calls, etc.

Could be, strange though the stock tire doesnt fit >_< however, for phone calls youll have to pair your phone. So using your dial, go to Audio tab, then a couple options down there should be an option for bluetooth, click it, youll have to authorize a new phone and pair it with the car. After that long as your bluetooth on your phone is on, it should automatically pair everytime you get in the car. If the options not there in the audio tab you may need a firmware update.

I got the phone working. Thank you, but the Command is not reading the name and numbers stored on the phone's sim-card

You will have to move them to the onboard memory in the car if its not recognizing them via bluetooth.

Go to the phone tab at the top, should be the 3rd one. Then at the bottom of the screen itll say phone again, scroll to it and click it. A menu will pop up and youll want to download your contacts from the mobile phone.

I'm still fighting with the phone system. I want to use my Nokia 6310i.There is a "cradle" in the storage compartment in the armrest. I have sent a photo earlier, but they were not so good. I'm sending a new photo this time. The Nokia phone will not fit in the cradle, and I don't know if it is possible to remove the cradle. The cradle that fits my Nokia ha part number A2048202251, and will not fit in the storage compartment. Is the cradle in the car just for European cars?

Hi there,

I believe Europeans only have this as mine did not come with a cradle in the arm rest. I would say that there in the center of the cradle, there is a screw you can undo to remove it. I am unsure as I have an american model. It could also be an addon the previous owner installed.

Yes, I think this is something special. I could not find a screw, but 2 torx screws. I don't have a torx driver, so I have to buy one, and see if I manage to remove the cradle.
