The E36 M3 is a great car! It is smooth and fast. The man. transmission is a blast! The CLK is has a completely different feel to it. It feels less precise and heavier. However, it is a fantastic all around car. If you are looking for a car to go through the twisties with, go with the M3. If you are looking for touring car, try the CLK. Have you driven both?
