May I know what's the bulb that will fit the Mercedes fog light of the 98 E320. Planning to get a new set of HID's. Have no time to read the manual.

The bulb is H1 and there are no HID replacements although these days everyone calls everything anything.

HID--High Intensity Discharge--means you need a ballast and a different reflector, as hot point of these bulbs is not the same place.

Since fog lights don't do anything anyway, it's a nonstarter idea.

yeah, but it looks 'kewl' so all the yutes are dropping HIDs in there regardless
of the light pattern or glare it throws
