Just purchased a 2000 e320 cdi

great car

2 small problems i was wondering if anyone could help with ??

1 - in the boot, passenger side next to cd changer is a small amount of water in the section that is lower down. car has sat for a bit and owner says boot was left open by mistake in rain. would a seal or anything else cause this ?

2 - drivers window goes up and down ok but when about a inch from the top coming back up it starts to tilt forward which leaves a couple of cm gap at rear of window. any help how to fix that ?

Try to find some help from the W210 forum. Welcome here too.

Just like what else has been said I would check the W210 forum and use the search for most of your answers..

For #1 I would not believe that story unless the rear seals have been proven to function and repel water effectively.

For #2 this is an indication that the window has been replaced and the window was not properly adjusted as needed. This would never make it from the factory that way so I would check for damage from an accident but the window has definitely been replaced..
