Hi People, I have trouble with the auto-opening and closing of the hood. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't! I suspect that it might be confused by the premature (and quite violent!) erection of the rear headrests. The headrests refuse to go down sometimes and they pop up with the slightest provocation. With alot of playing with windows and buttons and ignition...it can all be coaxed back into life again, only to refuse to work the next time. Any ideas? Cheers, Neil.

Hi Neil,
I'll bet the impending-rollover detection module is dying. Maybe you could jumper the wiring around it, but most likely you'll have to replace the part since that function is monitored by one of the on-board computers. I'll be interested to hear how you get this fixed and what it costs. No doubt, the same thing will happen to my car one of these days.
