Hello, any advice on how to test automatic transmissions without going to the service? Any tips and tricks on how to do it are welcome.

Thanks in advance

An open ended question.

Every time you turn key on ETC checks all transmission solenoids for open or short. Speed sensors are tested while in motion. Current and stored faults can be read with scanner.

Follow replies by MAVA. The same transmissions were used in several models, so the wisdom is spread between sections, but it is there.
Hopefully MAVA is not yet annoyed with answering the same questions millions times and can come to give some links?
If you don't have record about pilot bushing replaced in last few years - get it done ASAP.
