I have trouble with my fuel system in my E240 2000 W210.
First of all, the cars goes like an old lady, slowly. No reation if I kickdown.
I change Lambda, LMM with no luck. The main consern that may also relate this problem is that, when I startup my car. After 2-3 min the fuel pump start making strange sounds/noise (jamming) and it get very hot shortly after.

When I heard the sound the first time, I replaced the fuelfilter (OEM) with an new OEM.
This didnt fix the problem.
I then ordered a new Bosch Fuel pump and installed it. Same results.

The fuel pump temp is rising very quickly. After 5 min ideling, the temp is already above 44 degree.
Today I release the fuel pipe thath comes from the tank to the pump. The fuel is drained without any problem, så there is not a problem with fuel to the pump I guess.

Any suggestion what to check next?

Today I installed the Bosch fuel Filter 0450915003. Did not make any difference.

I would check the wiring, if there is an issue with resistance it could make it run hot is my guess.

Most times when fuel pumps get hot it is because of too much resistance in the coil windings of the pump and is usually remedied by replacing it.

Also I'm in the US and we don't have 240s so I'm not that familiar with them.
