My last car, a CL 500 (2002), had problems with the dynamic seats. First they changed the air pump, that didn't help. Then they changed a plastic pressurebox, then it was solved. Hole operation costed a whopping 7-8000 dollars!!!

Now I've just bought a 05 CLS 350. Same problem. The operation of the seat seem to start, but cuts after just a couple og seconds. If I press the massage button, first time the red light stays om for 5 seconds and then switch off. If I try again, the light just start blinking and nothing happens.

Is this a known problem, or am I just unlucky? Anyone had the same problem?

My 2006 cls 500 has dynamic seats, but everything works absolutely fine. Allthough I had heard from my mechanic that in the past he had repaired a malfunctioning driver seat. Does it give you an error message in the cluster or the STAR diagnosis?

No errors anywhere. It's probably a leak, since it starts up but gives up after some seconds. Leaking airbags in the seat is quite common my mecanic says
