hey all,

I have a brazil interior, the rear deck / hat rack / parcel shelf (take your pick) has faded to green...I found someone with a beige 91' hat rack (i wanted bigger speakers), can i dye this to match my interior? Will it have a course feel to it once dyed? I found a 18oz can of dye from World Upholstery

im just wondering will this work and look nice still? Or should I just leave the green one in or just leave the beige one (if i get it) beige? It might match my headliner to an extent, im not sure..

Commentions? Opinoins?

thanks

Kris

I have not done this myself, but check out Mike Ramay's write up from the MBcoupes.com website.

He used the dye from the Leatherique set to restore the color to his rear deck.

I did that dye job over five years ago and the interior still looks great. I didn't need to use all the dye at the time of the original job, and use it now for touchups. Just follow Leatherique's directions and you'll be very pleasantly surprised.
