: I have a 1999 CLK 320 where there is a driver-side front end noise and rattling that occurs when the car shifts weight, or goes over bumps. Mercedes has replaced the power steering gear box but that only made the problem worse, has anyone else experienced this and found a solution?<p>I have the same problem with my 1999 CLK430. They also replaced the power steering box and it still happens but it happens less. when i am at a standstill and i turn my steering wheel, i hear creeking noises now...<p>i would also like some help from anyone...maybe i should just go back to the dealer again!<br>
