My guess would be whatever position the switch is in to make the rear door lights work normally, ( i forget ), this is the same position.

This is why you wire the sills to the door switch and to the power mentioned in the bulletin. I think it's PHDick's posting, but it has all of the details on how
to wire the sills.

It depends on side of the switch to which the sills are wired. If the sill wires are attached between the switch and the interior lights, the sills will be switched with the lights. If the sill wires are attached to the other side of the switch, they will illuminated even when the interior lights are switched off.

lynn can u explain more please cuz i want to install them and i don't want the have the interior light on for the sills to work can help explain moreplease thanks you i have this instructions see link

WaveyKat, follow the instructions you have posted. Using those instructions will result in the sills only being illuminated when the doors are open. If you don't have a test light to check to see which wires are always on, go to an auto parts store and ask for a circuit testing light.

Good luck with the installation.
