Some of the main door seals are coming away from the door. The glue strips where they have come away do not stick back on.

Can anyone recommend a suitable adhesive to use to stick them back on. The seals are intact so would be a waste to get new ones (especially at 118k miles).

Also what is the best fluid to use to "lubricate" the rubber seals to prevent them sticking in sub-zero temperatures?

Thanks

A good quality double sided tape should work, peel the backing off as you push the seal into position.

Make sure you clean the surface thoroughly first to allow good contact.

I assume these are the press fit rubber seals, if you mean the plastic sheet behind the door panel then mastic should be used to make it water tight.

As for sticking seals you could try a rubber lubricating spray or silicone type spray polish
- spray on to a cloth then wipe around the seal, New seals come pre powdered with a talc type powder if I recall correctly.

I hope this helps
