Dear All
This is my first post and I am completely new to all of this. The 300D I just recently purchased is my first car and I am trying to get it up to my standards mechanically and aesthetically.
I already have learned a lot from this forum, but I have not found any posts on the plastic hooks that hold the door panels to the door frame. I went to the dealer to order them and just got a call saying those were the wrong parts and that they cannot order them at all, since they are not in the system. These hooks did not have any part numbers on them, but I basically need them for all four doors since most of them are missing or broken. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Sincerely,
XWZ

Replace the door panels.
The hooks are molded right into the panels and are not field replaceable. It sounds like someone who didn't know what they were doing removed the panels by prying them away from the door. Bad move. Guaranteed to break them. You'd think they would have given up after one door...

Going to the junkyard was my last resort option. Plastic parts tend to become brittle, especially when 23 years old. However, I do not seem to have any options other than that. There are two near me. I will check with them.
Thanks

I've successfully grafted on decent hooks from donor panels, so that's always an option. Kind of a pain to do, but it works well if you take the time to install correctly.

You don't say what your location is (hint, hint, fill out your profile) but around here in SE PA the 124s are getting pretty common in junkyards and good door panels are not hard to find, 20+ years old or not. They hold up very well until some bonehead tries to remove them by prying. What color is your interior? Recently palomino, gray, and burgundy have shown up. Plus, now would be a good time to upgrade to the 90-up panels that have wood trim.

I did this too. A good multi surface epoxy that covers cloth, wood and plastic should work well. The places the hooks should be attached are typically discolored in the shape of their footprint so correct location is also easy.
