I have seen a similar issue online, but no specific resolution.

symptoms:
1-open drivers door, lamp does not light on the door panel or overhead if switched on.
(when passenger door is open, all lights light up)
2-power seats on drivers side will not work unless car is switched on.
3-radio not working.
(with headlights on, radio has a dim light when powered, but will not work or put up the antenna when switched on)

The brake lamp switch was recently changed and the dealership, but I would like to see if there is perhaps a relay, or something that is not getting power as a result, before I take it to the stealer and get a run around. It was all working fine before it went in.

All fuses appear to be in working condition..

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sound like a missing ground wire problem that got introduced when that switch was replaced.

Turns out the alpine radio was shot, so I picked one used on ebay. The other symptoms remain-Its just to cold to get in there and open it up to check ground connections.

symptoms:
1-open drivers door, lamp does not light on the door panel or overhead if switched on.
(when passenger door is open, all lights light up)
2-power seats on drivers side will not work unless car is switched on.

You have a blown up relay box behind the passenger airbag.

Search again, but use my username in your search for poster, you ll find a post from few months ago about this...
