door handles

Not that I'm scrutinizing every square inch of this beautiful new car...but I noticed today in the sunlight that the door handles on my black (040) car are actually obsidian black metallic, rather than the plain black. Does this seem accidental, or a planned way to save during production....or maybe I'm seeing things. :eek:
