I bought a used dome light off of ebay... My old one was falling apart. I hooked it all up and when I started putting the mirror screws in sparks were coming out of the first screw which blew the #10 fuse! Does anyone know what the large electical plug is for? Any ideas on wiring problems or maybe something in the dome light itself...Al

Reminds me of a house I lived in, it had a picture on the wall. I decided to paint the wall, took the picture down pulled out the pin that was holding it up and the light went out. Put the pin back in and the light came back on.

Well after installing the dome light it works fine...Map lights, door opener etc...My 1 week old battery was totally dead this morning...It has something to do with the light or the wiring to it...Any ideas? What is the large plug for that goes to the light? Find it hard to believe a dome light can completly drain a 900 CCA battery in 8 hours...
