While running, when I put it into reverse the rear squats some and when it goes into drive it squats more.

Is this normal and do yours do it to?

In reverse the rear should go up, not down. Yes, it's normal (to a point) and yes, my car does it. This engine has a lot of torque.

They all do it -- it's caused by the independent rear suspension. Solid-axle rear wheel drive cars & trucks don't do it that much.
