I looked under the car the other day to install a belt for the AC since it was missing when I bought the car, but there doesnt seem to be a way to adjust the belt? (84 non serpentine) I tried to use the PS belt between the comp and crank, but way too short.

Maybe it was a custom belt?

I can't say whether its factory or not. I've never seen a 201 without a serpentine belt but there has to be some way to adjust it.

Maybe one of the bolts mounting it has a slot to move in or something. BMI is a shop in Norcross just south of Jimmy Carter Blvd. that has been a lot of help to me. Call him and ask him to tell you how it works.
