How you do it will vary from state to state. Mine came with the original German title and was readily accepted by NCDOT.
With a state DOT bill of sale, I don't think you'll have a problem, as long as it's over 25 years old.DIESELYJ - 3/17/2005 10:40 AM
Hi, just bought a late 70's early 80's 406 from a department of transportation office.
Because they never used it on the road, they never got a title when they bought it new.
Do all of you have titles for your mogs??
How difficult would it be to get one for mine??
They did give me a bill of sale with it.
Thanks in advance.
It is in the same state, but I think that I am unfortanetly going to have to sell it again (wife is not as impressed as i am), so if i get a title in my state i will have to pay the sales tax.Mogasaurus - 3/17/2005 5:03 PM
