They are available in my area on CL. I don't wanna deal with adaptors or spacers. I just want a nice set of 16s that will bolt right on. thank you.

Of a CL then no they won't fit. You want a C, CLK, SLK or E class rims any years. For direct bolt on you want 15-16-17" with approx 35 offset and 7-7.5-8 width. Hope this helps.

The CL never came out with these wheels. They come from an SLK.
The problem is that the width/offset is limit on the front for the W124. You might need spacers to be perfect.

I think it's 17 (replica) on the pic before, but it can give you an idea of the global look of these rims on a W124.

thanks, I should have been clearer though. When I said CL, I really meant craig's list, not an MB CL. Upgrading to 16s is not a big priority now anyway. I will do it when and if I find a hot deal on a nice set of wheels. This info is very helpful though, thanks again!

What model did they come off of? I bought 16" C class wheels off an 04 model and they were a direct bolt on to my 300CE. Find out what they are off of and look up the factory specs for the wheel offset, bolt pattern etc. Then you will know.

If they are close by, see if the seller will let you try and put one on your car. Sure fire way of knowing then.

Good luck,

Jayare
