is there any way i can find out if my '04 C230K has a bose sound system? the bass is much better than that of my friends 01 C320 with a bose system, but i dont know if i have one. i dont have a vent adjuster in the big speaker/vent in the center of the dash, and i have a 6 CD changer. i bought the car in nov 04 from my dealer used with only 2,000 miles on it but i have never been able to find out which audio system i have. "bose" isn't on the speakers on my door, but does the 6 CD changer come with a special system or do i just have a stock?

if you have bose, you should have subwoofer along with "bose" emblems on speakers. cd changer is an option whether you have bose or not. sounds like you have non-bose system.

well the bass is pretty nice .. i think it might be a H/K system.

Sorry to bring back a thread from the dead...
I have been searching and either I am not typing in the right information to search or this is the only thread I have found on the topic.

My question is the same as the thread originator's. Do I have a Bose system? What is the best way to tell?

Only the woofer on the rear deck says "Bose" on it and have the "normal" Audio 20(?) [tape deck with 6 disk changer].

If any speaker says "Bose" on the grille, you should have the Bose. It is quite common of an option.

And if you can set sorrund options under settings in the comand is a good hint as well..
I don't have boose and therefore I can't set Hall, Concert and stuff like that...

Now that I think about it, if I remember right the USA got Bose in a package with the sunroof. I know this was true for the W210 and think it's true for at least some years of the W203.
