Hi all. I have just finished using a bit of Seafoam in the 280 with mixed results, but I think is was worth it. Today I took the car out for a short drive. Power seems good, no overheating, but still high idle. As recommended before I will examine the WUR and AAV soon (Please tell me there is and easy way to remove and examine both of these!) Today the economy gauge started acting a bit different. At idle (1100 rpm) the gauge is about one quarter of the way from the left side of the gauge. When I rev the engine to 2500 (in neutral)the gauge moves all the way to the left peg. On the road the gauge seems to act normally. Any ideas, or just the AAV and WUR still? Thanks.
