Hello everyone I have a 2003 CL55 with around 93k miles now, the abc system works great does not sag at all and I've left it days parked in the garage anyways it does need to have the abc accumulators replaced because I hear a hissing sound probably from it losing its nitrogen charge and I get the abc low light for half a second when going over bumps but I had a question I do not plan on keeping the stock abc for long I plan on removing it and getting coil overs for peace of mind with that being said I'm not gonna change it right now maybe in a couple months, the reason I am making this is to ask if its even worth changing out the accumulators I dont mind the abc light over bumps it has to be a big bump for it to come on for a second but from what I read it puts more stress on the abc lines which could explode thats really the only reason why I would change them but if I could keep it like this for a couple more months I will just change out the whole system. let me know thanks!

First, I would recommend some punctuation to make your posts easier for people to read. :)

Second, a few years ago I bought an S600 TT that of course came with ABC. After 160,000 miles, apparently its accumulators were weak, as it sounds like yours are now. As I was driving it home after purchase, the rear accumulator exploded. When that happens, the car slams down like a low-rider and you're calling a tow truck. Fortunately, I was able to drive the car to a shop using the ol' trick with short sections of 2x4's above the upper control arms, combined with some very gentle driving.

That's the risk of ABC. Its failure mode is, "you ain't drivin' no more."

Yes, I converted to coil-overs (Strutmasters) + anti-sway bar right away, and I haven't looked back since.
