Great video here! All credit to the gentleman who made this video for doing a tough job and still managing to film it.

At about 36 minutes, he had advice on putting engine mounts in.

Removal of oil filter housing
Removal and replacement of oil cooler lines

Both of these videos from Kent relate to the video above about fixing oil leaks associated with the oil filter housing and oil cooler lines on the diesels.
Kent gives some great advice on doing the job. If you are going to tackle this job, it might be worth your time to watch these videos beforehand.

This one is one a w124. I have been keep these videos to be w126 specific but the m103 is the same as the one in the 300SE and 300SEL. Thinking back to doing this job 10+years ago it seems like it was pretty much the same.

Oil leak from behind the upper timing chain cover, right behind the distributor. Also good reference for removing and replacement of distributor and rotor.

There is another one of these in this thread but sometimes videos disappear over time, so here it is. Tightening the alternator belt on a diesel

OVP (Overprotection Voltage Relay) Repair

I am double posting this with the electrical repairs thread-so everything after this is pretty much a copy and paste.

I am including testing instructions that I found and posted in the thread about 14 years ago.

It is a good idea to first check/replace the fuse in the relay.

Remove from car. It is held by a single 8mm nut and then unplugs.

set the multimeter to diode mode. Positive test probe to terminal 31 and neg to term 30

norminal value is 0.4V to 1.5V

(Also note that the video shows a repair on an OVP for a r129. The part number may not match exactly to your w126 but the principles are the same)

Another 300SD having its oil pan gasket replaced. I am not familiar enough with diesels so I will use the poster's description in which he says that he also replaces the turbo charger oil return drain line gasket, O rings and grommet

He also has the part numbers in the description of the video. Another great job by Impalaman's Garage!

Another monovalve video. This one includes instructions for checking the monovalve with a multimeter. So, if you are not getting heat in the cabin, this is one of the items to check. The other being the thermostat. I am going to cross post this to the interior thread since it involves a lack of heat in the cabin.

Finally found one! Compression test on a m103 engine so if you have a 300SE or 300SEL, this is for you. Regarding both of these w126 models, still trying to find a video on replacing the oil pan/oil pan gasket.
