What if onlt one side out of spec?
Old post I know. Doesn't this technique assume that both sides are out, and then so both sides are adjusted to realign?
Suppose one side is correct, and the other is out. Using this technique, wouldn't you end up adjusting the correct side to out of spec? We are adjusting both sides to make up for the uneven measurements, so aren't I bringing the out of spec side closer to spec, while adjusting the correct spec side to more out of spec??
Thanks for helping my small brain think this through.
