I have 204k on my trusty '83 380sl. Last week the distributor rotor broke. I have replaced it with a new one (all MBZ parts) and it is OK. Not surprisingly there is play in the distributor shaft. I can not find in my repair manuals what run out is acceptable. Can anyone recommend a reference or some data? I canmeasure it with a dial indicator but I do not know what the spec is.[8D]
