Where is the location recommended to drill holes in the distributor caps, in order to eliminate the usual problem of condensation, and therefore stalling and driving problems ?

Probably too radical of an idea to drill a hole in the distributor cap,but if you'd like to try it, do it somewhere between the top notches where the wires are attached. Heat rises so it seems logical to drill there.

But I think a better idea would be to release the caps and inspect them before the hot and humid weather sets in and then clean the rotor and its hot connecting points with emery cloth, and clean any debris in the cap. Do this once a year. The rotor does not touch the connecting points; it's the corrosion that forms from firing that eventually fatigues the caps.

Let us know what you do and the results. Interesting idea.
