How difficult of a DIY is it to replace the airbag sensor in the front passenger seat of a 2000 E320? Is there an DIY article on it and if not then would someone like to do it?
Thanks

its a pretty serious bitch from what I hear. You have to peel the seat cover off. Hog clamps are a pain to work with.

Whats wrong with it?
The SRS light goes on and off intermittently. I checked and know its the sensor because I moved my ass around the seat and towards the front of the seat the light goes off and as I move to the back of the seat the light comes back on. :(

that would be pretty hard to get fixed. On the other hand, are you sure its the sensor?? it might be the little computer that recieves the signal from the sensor. maybe its sending faulty signals.
