If by differential mount you mean this metal bracket with rubber bushings then no, you just undo 4 bolts and swap it out. Assuming the bolts aren't rusted it's straightforward.

Just an FYI it can be a bit of a b1tch to remove because the spare tire well is in the way of the 2 large mount bolts.

If you can't drop it low enough to clear the hump, try disconnecting the CV joint and removing it. If it's still in the way, you might have to disconnect the axles (if annular) or worse split open the differential if homokinetic.

Torque the bolts to FSM spec with blue thread locker !

Good point beast re thread locker. In my case I was able to wriggle out the bracket without having to drop either CV joint or axle, note I have reg differential.
