I was told the only difference between the two is the engine. Is this true and if not what makes them different?

The engine definitely are different. I think the suspension setup is different too.

the engine is different along with the suspesion. the wheels bodykit bigger calipers with rotors drilled exhaust more options for the interior that come standard and just little things. floor mats badges seats alot of comestics along with performance.. me personally i don't know if i would pay the money but damn they awesome

I really couldn't tell the difference physically between them but I knew the engine was faster. I saw a clk 430 amg for sale on a website; is there such a thing?

NO.

its just the engine, steering wheel, suspension, and thats about it. They both come with the amg body packages if your do a search you can get more specific details.
