MY DAD GOT A S500 AND ONE WEEK AFTER PICKING IT UP IT STARTED SMELLING LIKE GAS. HE TOOK IT TO THE DEALER AND THEY TOLD HIM THAT THE FUEL LINE OR PUMP HAD BEEN LEAKING. IT DOES NOT SMELL AS BAD NOW BUT YOU CAN STILL SMELL GAS FROM THE TRUNK. HAVE ANY OF YOU HAD OR HEARD ABOUT THIS PROBLEM. AND WHAT SHOULD BE DONE ABOUT THE SMELL. SHOULD WE TRY AND RETURN THE CAR FOR A NEW ONE? WILL THE SMELL GO AWAY? ANY INFO / COMMENTS WILL HELP. -THANKS

A match will eliminate the gas smell . . .

Then it will smell like smoke.

Get an air glade pop up.

Or some fabreeze.
