Did I get ripped off?

Folks,

I had the famous idle problem on my 88-420, took it to european motors downtown today and heres the writeup of what they did:

IDLE SPEED SWITCH IS NOT WORKING AND MAKING THE MOTOR IDLE HIGH. SO REPLACED IDLE SPEED SWITCH and OVP. RESEALED FUEL HEAD and SPARKED PLUGS, RE_ADJUSTED FUEL SYSTEM. REPLACED OIL PAN -

Cost - Oil Pan $65
Idle Switch - $75
Spark Plugs - $14.80
Labor - $245 smakaroos...

Now the idle problem is handled "apparently", but when I drove out of the workshop today the car was idling pretty hard. When I stopped at a stop light the whole freakin body was shaking. Its idling at 700 but pretty rough...

Help!!

Thanks,
Brendan

Brendan,

Who recommended you the shop you are using?

Take your vehicle back to them and let them have another try. If they can't fix it, or give you a full explanation of what they did and why, find another mechanic.
