I was in a rush this morning and didn't let the engine warm up ( its a 1990 300E )

the pickup was sluggish the entire trip to work.

IT felt like it was being held back/...

PLease , oh pretty please
tell me did I damage my car and what is the proper procedure with dealing with the m103 and morning startups !!

thanks.

A few more details would be key.. Letting your car sit and idle to get warm is Not recomended by MB or any manufacture for that matter.

if the car was acting up, its not because you were driving it "while it was cold."

when i start my car, i give it maybe 10 seconds, enough to establish oil pressure (1 sec) put on my seat belt and select what music to listen to; then i go.
the cars electronics take care of appropriate fueling.
as a bonus, driving the car gets it to operating temps quicker than waiting.
