Good evening guys!!

I currently own 3 W140's.... I know... Glutton for punishment. I have a 95 s600 Coupe, and two 99 S500 coupes.

I have been using a friends scanner. The time has come to invest in my own.

Can anyone advise as to what the best and most cost effective option is? I have heard Carsoft, MB star. etc etc....

I would like full functionality and am not quite sure what I need. I've seen something with multiplexer and yada yada....

What would be a good option for DIY?

MAVA and I both bought the unit in post #14 of this thread, and are happy with it. Ask for the software on an SSD (much faster), and put it in a Dell D630 laptop off eBay. There are some tricks to getting things setup, but the seller can Teamview to your computer, and finish setting it up. It's not hard to do yourself, but be prepared to do some reading. The harddrive also contains EPC, WIS, and Starfinder. It was delivered within a week. Indispensable for a W140.
