I saw one in Century City shopping mall (So. Cal) parked underground. I've also seen one at Beverly Hills Mercedes. For $10k more, you get a special exterior copper paint, two tone seats with copper, copper woodgrain and different shift knob. Although exclusive, I thought the colors to be gaudy and the price to be wastefull.
However, I understand that there are other Designo colors available also. The idea with the Designo is to express more personality and exclusivity. I would rather do the opposite, hence I got a silver with all black interior. Slip right in with the rest of the 320s on the road.

Re: Expresso Designo E55

I saw a Express (Special black exterior/ brown interor) at a dealer in Virgina. The car looked great. The lighter colored wood accents (instead of E55 black wood) helped the interior. The wood stearing wheel and shifter also added to the looks. Althought I wonder how that wood wheel is on the hands after some serious driving.
However, I ended up ordering a E430 and added the wood shifter, AMG rims and decided not to add the wood shifter (dealer option).
