Need some ideas on riding the stench of PO horrible smell in the car!!!
Its strong coconut,I've steamed cleaned the carpeting washed all surfaces down and smell still there! I've tracked it down to the passenger door pocket, there was some kind of fragrance bar in there that melted into the plastic!smell gets worse when the car sits in the sun PU! I took the door card off washed it down and still stinky! I was thinking of painting the inside of the pocket and rear of card, there's some sort of fiber board on back side and the whole thing stinks!
any Ideas on what else to do besides replacing the whole thing!

I had that sort of thing once in an old car of mine.
The particle board stuff the pocket was made of is porous and had become impregnated with the smell of something bloody horrible ! Worse as you say when it heats up. I eventually had to buy a replacement as once it gets in it don't get out again !

Try to get a ozone generator, put it in the car over night - smell be gone :) When I bought me TE, it was a smokers car (& cloth interior)... After a night with a smal ozone generator - almostno smoke smell left :) And after another night & day it smelled realy fresh. Was a very smal generator...

But be warned: ozone is poisonous! Don't let the generator run whilst you'r in the car and give it a very good vent before you use it again resp. try not to inhale the ozone :)

There are also companys which offer that service, at least over here... With trained personel.

Stuff the door pocket with Bounce laundry sheets. They do an amazing job of "pulling" odors. Replace them every few days.

Try some Fabreze. My wife and I were on a bus tour in Maui. At a stop, she stayed on the bus and promptly threw up all over two cloth bus seats. It was a runny, stinky mess and the whole bus reaked. The driver got us to a small settlement where she could buy some clothes and get cleaned up. The rest of the bus went to a museum. The driver took the bus to get it cleaned. It came back and not a smell anywhere. He said he wiped it down with water and then dosed it with Fabreze. Made a believer out of us!

Keep the door or windows open whenever you can. It will go in the matter of weeks, or months.
Our dog got sprayed by skunk 3 weeks ago and even my wife washed her with shampoo and tomato juice, the smell is still present. Should go in couple more months.
Actually that might be an idea >>> skunk pee will make the coconut unnoticeable. :D
