Here are some pics of my car after having the lowers, bumper's and everything else except the chrome painted white. So far I am happy with the results. I won't be able to get the wheels on until Mon. The mirror back's have since been painted as well.

Hmm, I think I would've tried to get the smooth lower moulding/cladding before I painted it.

Also, close your hood.

No no you have an unmolested Gen 1 car and it's goregous the way it is. You don't need Gen 2 molding to mess with that.

Yeah but you already modified it by painting it, so essentially it is a molested gen I. Now it's a gen I*. Painting the cladding isn't factory, so why not go the full monty and get the unribbed sides for a more modern look? If you're going to get your feet wet, might as well go swimming.

I happen to think Body color cladding looks better than the grey of the originals.

My car originally belonged to my grandmother. My dad purchased 2 euro sec's in '84. One for him and the other for her. His had amg bits, body kit, wing, springs, penta's diff. and all blacked out. Grandma's was bone stock and remained that way till the day she died. I figured it was time for a new look.

Dad sold his to a guy in miami that has had the car on ebay recently. The pics that I saw of the car showed rear body damage, no pentas(dad's were painted all black) and the Nardi steering wheel dad installed. Here is a pic I found on ebay of the car.
