You're not from British Columbia, are you?

As Lynn said, the DRLs are reduced intensity low beam headlamps.

yes I'm in Richmond, British Columbia

I have the factory zenons but the daytime running lights next to them are yellow and look awkward next to the blueish white zenons.

Oh those are not the DRLs...

The DRLs are your low beam Xenons. The bulbs that you're referring to are the city lamp bulbs. You can change those bulbs (they're small 5 watt bulbs) for a cleaner look.

See this on my car [:)]. I went with the Hyperwhite LED wedge bulbs from formymercedes.com

Yes, you will have to add something...

You will need to tap in a W5W socket into the back or else the bulb out system will give you an error message since the LED bulbs draw much less current than the regular incadescent bulbs (and the system thinks that the bulb is blown).

I'm in Coquitlam, BTW [:)]

And no, it won't void your warranty. What sort of wheels are you looking for? [:)]

All of the local places are darn expensive. I think it does depend on how much you want to spend of course. I'm not sure if I'd go to 18" wheels, especially with the rough roads in many parts of the lower mainland. Try Tiretrends.com. They're based in Port Moody and have some really great looking German replica wheels.

still looking for mags

FYI for those who live in British Columbia:
I've called just about every one in town so far.
Tiretrend only has AMG replicas in 17"
Volco has AMG replicas in 17" and 18" but different styles. They also can get a 18" Motegi for under $300.
Also got a line on a set of factory 17" AMG [mags only] off of a C36 from this little auto store.
National Tire Land carries the Replicas as well as some other brands for MB. Haven't had time to check out their store though.
