Hello from Canada - my first post!!
No luck finding the data card for the following Vin. I've checked with MB Canada and few guys on other sites/forums... no luck either. What I know is that the car is an 85' ECE spec first imported into the US then into Canada shortly there after. Any help would be great, w201034

Try contacting MBUSA using 1-800-FOR-MERC.

I think anyone (dealer, independent, individual subscriber) with access to the EPC/StarTek should be able to get the data card info based on the VIN.

I think so too, everyone should but this does not always happen and this case is an example when the VIN has been removed from the database for some reason.

Was that also not known by EPC? In any case sounds like a good idea, as well as the one Musikmann suggested.

Just called the Mercedes Classic Center in Irvine, CA... (thanks for the tip). I need to submit proof of ownership before they'll send me the information, but at least there going to at least check to see if the vin's in the system before jumping through hoops.

Nope, car isn't in the system either... there going to contact Germany and get back to me regarding the data card. The reason they asked for proof of ownership... to protect the key codes.
