Over the weekend, while driving (2006 Sl500), the dashboard suddenly went blank, all indicators turned off, no click sounds when turning left/right handle, all needles froze. The command console (radio) still working though. I was totally freaked out, driving without any indicators, and of course the thought of repair cost. Luckily the external turn signals still work. I went home and reconnected the rear battery, restart the car, all working again! If this ever happen to you (God forbid), don’t panic, like I did. Try reconnect the supplemental battery in trunk. The only thing I could think of was I had my dog with me at the time and he was all over the places… -MC
