dashboard covers

rather than spending hundreds on a replacement dashboard (my original is cracked), I'm considering trying one of those dashboard covers...they cost about $90 and are glued on top of the original. Does anybody have any experience with these? They look OK in the photos...

You should try them...

I had dash covers on my old 190E and Nobody could tell it was on there. they work well.

i got it glued on and it is remarkable how nice it looks....all for under a $100

have a dashboard cover on my 1978 280CE, looks close to factory, have a "rug" on my 83 300...

have a dashboard cover on my 1978 280CE, looks close to factory, have a "rug" on my 83 300D Euro. Rug is around $30 looks better then cracked dash.

I could use a "rug" myself bought good ones cost $$$$

Where do you get dash covers from

My 280TE has a cracked Dash which i was looking to get reskinned. Can you tell me where you got the cover from ?
