I received a dash cleaner that was recommended by MB. It is part number A 000 986 47 74. It retails at the dealer for around $10. It seems to work fairly well if you use a micrfiber towel to wipe off. I tried it by applying to a rag, then on spots followed by the microfiber towel. It does not create any gloss or objectionable appearance. It had to be ordered from MB. Good luck .

Does the cleaner have an alcohol base?

not clear on the can- try it on a small area at the base of the door panels before doing any on your dash. Good luck. Ron

Thanks Ron for the information. What is the actual name on the can....Dash Cleaner??? Have you tried any other product before the MB Dash Cleaner, and if so, what was it and how did it compare to the MB product?
