I tried to PM you this message but, it seems your inbox is full and will not accept any new messages, so...

I've only just done one pic for now, I realize it's not exactly what you asked for but I hope it will do for now

I tried to simulate a polished surface as well as colouring the centres black but it wasn't convincing at all so I'll still have to work on getting them done
It's tricky to get photos of just the right wheels, at a workable angle

With wheels that have a deep dish such as these it can easily look fake and pasted on if the wheels aren't already at a similar angle to the original picture as they loose depth

Anyways I think these wheels would look fantastic on your stunning car
Will get back to you sometime soon

Cheers, Damon

That looks awesome.

Great PhotoShop job, doesn't look like a "cut & paste" at all.

Looks great, but IMO a black center would look even better.

Sweet! sorry my inbox was full. it's cleared now.
Now try one with the black center. So far. Awesome job. Thanks!

how about McLaren SLR wheels? I can get 18" staggered reproductions cheap, in any offset I want.

well, it does look kinda cool. but I think it's too... "Gangsta"
It does add some flash though. I'll give it that.
and as Axel Wullf said. The car isn't really that "dated" anymore with the paint scheme and new body kit. so... it might work.

i still like the AMG's... it gives it more of a badass... but still classy feeling.

the SLR rims just look... "wannabe gangsta". if they were black, i might have thought differently ;]

I like the SLR wheels, and a few other "open" type of wheels like the AMG style 4.

The problem is they leave our brakes exposed, which are neither impressive in size nor that good looking.

At least DarkOneSK has painted calipers.

funny how certain wheels only look good on certain cars huh...i wonder what the science is behind it...like the 3 piece you reckon they'll look good with every merc but they dont suit the newer mercs at all...and porsche wheels only look good on porsches...

My friend put those "Lorinser Turbine" copies (as mentioned above) on my old 380SEC when he bought it off me. Was never quite convinced though - they just never suited the car...

These are only 17", but you can now get them up to 21" on German eBay...

Wow, that is a picture of a 380SEC? Looks good, I was starting to loose faith in the 380...

Maybe add some spinners too? ;-) IMO the AMG 3pc., monoblock, some of the Lorinser monoblocks or Centra are the only ones that look "right" on these cars. Painted to match, or left the classic silver w/polished lip.

Nah, the car got sold and the wheels ended up on a type 25 VW crewcab.
