MB is currently offering $5,000 of the total purchase price. My father is only interested in the auto transmission and sunroof as far as options and leather inserts for the leather seats, (he's pleased very easily as you can see.) He will put down around $4,000 on the total. Could he get this 2003 C230 Kompressor Sport Sedan for $25k-$26k total without tax do you think?

Does this 2003 C230 Kompressor Sport Sedan have all wheel drive and a 6 cylinder?

Thanks!

The 2003 C230 Sedan does have all wheel drive and a 6 cylinder but they call it the C240 or C320 4Matic, same car but with all wheel drive and a V6. Sorry, don't know prices but if you go to http://www.mbusa.com and select Purchase Tools, build your own you can go through, select the options you want and it will give you a price. If you want a more realistic price use www.carsdirect.com

Mine was $32k, with C2, CD changer, auto.

Deduct $600 for CD changer, and $5k incentive and you're at $26,400.

Good luck, the 230Sedan is a great car!

I would wait for the facelifted c-class since there will be significant changes to the interior that will assimilate to the e-class and the clk-class. I heard this from a buddy who works for DCX.

I haven't heart of any $5,000 discounts. The coupes are discounted heavily, however I have heard nothing about the sedans. Things change quickly though. I paid about 32.5 (w/o tax, none in Oregon) for mine, including C2, C4, Bose, bum warmers, CD chg, and clear mask. The C230 doesn't come with AWD or a V6. The V6/AWD (optional) models are C240 and C320. C240 is gutless IMO. Unless you really need AWD, can't beat the value of the C230. Also, leather inserts are standard across the board. There isn't a big difference between inserts and full leather. You could save the money and get C4.
