With respect to the Mercedes 280SE D-Jetronic distributor, 6 cylinders. Which of the three assemblies is the correct one or the best one?

your firing order should be on the block or head on the engine. you need to match that

This is a 280SE but if i dont know the year of you car it could be wrong

So, I leave the first piston in TDC and can I use any of the three options? What about valve timing?
