The engine harness to body harness connector is called C103 in the Electronic Troubleshooting Manual (earliest I have is 1974 publication). It is a very common 6 pole connector in Mercedes-Benz of that era. All of those type connectors were made by Kroschu (still producing automotive electrical components to this day). When I go to the salvage yard, I grab these by the handful - I have a large sack of them in male, female and various configurations.
Can I buy one from you in order to make my own replacement engine harness?

The thermo-time switch connector (also by Kroschu) is unique because of that spring loaded plastic pawl that grabs the notch in the sensor body. I have learned to only work on some of these items when it is warm outside. This reduces the tendency for old brittle plastic pieces to break. Again, I grab these from salvage cars but I think you can still order them from MB suppliers.
I thought I found the part number in the EPC for this but couldn't see availability anywhere. I will check again. Thanks!

These are the part numbers that the EPC gives me. Almost all of them seem to turn up a blank when searching online:

A1265401081 - temp gauge sender connector - seems to be available from MB dealer - $2

A0065457828 - connector from engine harness to main harness
A0095453028 - housing upper part
A0015453826 - contact pin - need six

A0055455628 - plug for TTS
replaced by: A0095454428
A0015453726 - ??? - mentioned in EPC but with no description?
A0095454428 - pin bushing housing
A0095454528 - cover
A0035452656 - female contact - need two

You probably need to check with the MBUSA Classic Center in Irvine, Ca 1-866-622-5277. If parts are available, they should be able to supply them. Otherwise, for better pricing, an on-line MB dealer that discounts parts. Or a Euro source like www.niemoller.de or www.sls-hh.de. Brad will know more about sourcing.
