could be as cheap as a sparkplug (a couple of bucks), or expensive as a new harness (US$700). I think you need to look at the leads for cylinder 1 and 4. follow them from the plug to the coil. Check the joints are connected properly. If they share the same coil, replace it.


I went to auto zone to get my check engine light checked. The code reader said:

Cylinder misfire on cylinder 1 and 4
Random misfire

Does anyone know what misfire means? what kind of a problem iam looking at and how much would it cost?
